Welcome!

Thank you for visiting. I have been a fan of the zombie genre for some time now, enough that I decided to try my hand at serious writing. My first series, White Flag of the Dead, chronicles the experiences of a man who is trying to survive a plague of the infected dead, and keep his son alive as well. It is a story of desperation, survival, and hope. It is a story that reminds us the most important thing is not just being alive, but living. Hope you enjoy.

End of the Series

Finished White Flag of the Dead Book 9 : The Zombie Wars (We all fall down) this morning, Will be sending to the editor this afternoon.
Feels a little weird. This series has been part of me for four years, and this crew has been as close to me as my own family. I'll probably continue here with more stories and advice as I think of them, but I will be moving on to another series "Born in the Apocalypse" I posted a part of it here a while back, and I will be finishing the first book pretty soon.

Spread the word!

I am no longer on Facebook as Joe Talluto, but John Talon is there. Send him a friend request if you want.

  1. Argh! Both excited and anxious. Looking forward to another book as always, but don't really want the characters to end. I understand their story reaching a resting point, however. They've done a lot, traveled far and wide, and fought to create and defend a civilized society. Will read it slowly and savor it as I wait for the next project!

  5. Okay so just finished book 9.
Loved it, great story, great end.

    little Spoilers questions ahead:

-Of course Im still gonna gripe about Denver. The previous books made it sound like he really screwed up and people got hurt in Denver. Nothing really out of the ordinary happened though outside of that building. Even then, that was a good thing. More fighters died in beginning of book 8 than Denver, so why do people give Talon crap about it so much? Maybe I read those books wrong (4-6 i think) in their delivery.
-Love these books because its a mile a minute. Constantly in motion.
-What I do not understand was everyone accepting ghosts (book 5 maybe, the hotel). They all took it in complete stride. I do not recall any previous book being accepting of ghosts
-The most awesome random story (so many) was the man from Canada. THAT WAS AMAZING AND NUTS. Just Came Out Of No Where!!
-Sad to see it go but picked up Gen Dead books now. I agree with review, Its up there with Day by Day and WWZ. And fits into different genres I want from Z books. Diary, History, and constant movement.

    Bravo!!
