Welcome!

Thank you for visiting. I have been a fan of the zombie genre for some time now, enough that I decided to try my hand at serious writing. My first series, White Flag of the Dead, chronicles the experiences of a man who is trying to survive a plague of the infected dead, and keep his son alive as well. It is a story of desperation, survival, and hope. It is a story that reminds us the most important thing is not just being alive, but living. Hope you enjoy.

United States of the Dead

The fourth book in the White Flag of the Dead series is now out in Kindle version!  Hope you reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Book 5 and (hopefully) book 6 (if I can get a farking moment to write!) should be finished by Christmas.

  2. Be advised. It's not as long as some of the other ones, and someone had felt it was detrimental enough to give it a one-star review because of it.

  6. Yeah I wondered what happened to Zeus too.

This is a great series. Hands down my favorite zombie series.

A couple things though. First, I don't know if it was intentional, but why are all the minorities we see evil? Blacks, Hispanics, and Asians mentioned are all in the evil gangs of marauding thugs. I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but it sure is weird.

Second you never told us what Sara said to that militant woman that was plotting to kill John that kept shutting her up.

Sara is pretty bad ass, but it seems like more of the women would be more battle hardened if they managed to survive a zombie outbreak. Yet with few exceptions they're pretty much shrinking violets, or always end up staying in the background with the children, even when they aren't their own.

Those things considered I do really like the books. I will continue reading as long as you are writing!

  8. Great series, the only one that has been able to keep my interested all the way through (The Day by Day: Armageddon totally jumped the shark). Can't wait to read this one, but when will it be out for iBooks?

  9. Should be out, but maybe just the first two. Not sure. Not helpful, true, but I'm not sure.

  10. Mr. Talluto,
I also have been a fan of the genre for a very long time (since I watched the original 'Dawn of the Dead' long before I was old enough), and I have read countless books by countless authors. Some books have been duds, others were diamonds in the rough. I have recommended your 'White Flag' series to many friends and co-workers; some of whom care nothing of the genre. 'White Flag' has been the best and most entrancing series I have read. Your character development and attention to detail draw the reader in, and we can't get enough. Bravo! One day when I get enough guts (and time) to write a book(s) myself, I hope you'll enjoy mine as much as we have all enjoyed yours. Continue the effort. Thanks!

  11. Oh my goodness! I just finished book 4 (on Kindle) and just got hummed there wasn't a new one yet... :)

    Love, love, love the series!

  12. Mr. Talluto,

I have read all four books in your series, and I loved them all equally. I am anxiously awaiting the 5th book.

A little constructive criticism I have is about your editing. There are numerous spelling errors in all four books(possibly Kindle's fault?). It did not take away from my enjoyment of the story, but it would be nice if your books were a little more polished. I am not great with grammar; however, I would like to extend to you my eagle eye for spelling errors.

I will trade you free spell checking for an advanced copy. Please let me know. ha :)

  13. Hatephil,
Thanks for the offer, but if I don't kick my editor he'll never learn. I just have to figure a way of kicking out to Australia

  14. I started reading Zombie Fallout and loved them but when I was finished I was looking for another Zombie series to get my teeth into (pun intended)and White Flag is absolutely epic!!

Please tell me that the 5th is nearly here because book 4 was immense.
